We’re building the org chart tool we wished existed.
Orgstack started as a side project after the founder spent a week wrestling Lucidchart shapes to draft a 200-person reorg. We thought: it should be possible to drag a person onto another person and have the chart just… work. Turns out, with the right editor, it is.
What we believe
Three opinions, baked in.
The editor is the product.
If the editor is painful, no feature list saves it. We spend more time on drag, keyboard, and layout than anything else.
Pricing should be honest.
Charging per employee punishes growth. We charge flat plans so adding people is a feature, not a cost.
Org charts are for planning.
Documenting is table stakes. The interesting work is what comes next — reorgs, headcount, vacant roles.
